Stripes are a favorite at Mod Paint Works, and there’s a reason: they are visually attractive, but not overwhelming.
They are simple, yet add another dimension to any room.
They do a great job at tricking the eye into believing the room is taller or wider than it is.
Stripes have been around for decades. Vertical stripes can act as a “height extender”, while horizontal stripes can bring out the width of a smaller room. Either way you benefit from tricking the eye into a larger space.
Above, we chose a monochromatic scheme with horizontal stripes. A subtle and minimal result perfect for an accent wall. The perfect balance.
